Problems

I love 'Allo 'Allo but dont get me wrong, this show shouldn't have been created....

I personally felt that the sho should have only been done with all living cast members, characters were missing

Helga
Captain Bertorelli
Maria
Smallhausen
Herr Flick

I know that many of the original cast have passed away... but were was in the memory of at the end....

Come on Carmen Silvera, Hilary Minister, Jack Haig, Kenneth Connor, Rose Hill, Richard Marner

The show wouldnt have been a success with out them

You do have a point there... and I totally agree that there should have been a 'in the memory of:' in the end! But come on the show was great enough even as it is. =D People have been yearning to see everyone back together again! This was like a very delicious treat we've all been teased with for a long time...
As for why not all the alive actors appeared - I guess they were busy or something... it's a pity though, it would have been even better with them.

Things I didn't like were:

The lack of story and unoriginality in the characters meeting
The ridiculous coincidences like them all turning up on the same day
The studio audience
and the predictable saying of the catchphrases.

Watching 'Allo 'Allo without Francesca Gonshaw and Sam Kelly is like drinking hot water without coffee to get your caffeine fix.

I don't want to do it. Sure, Bertorelli was sometimes funny, Crabtree had some interesting interpretation of the french (or english) language, Helga had her place in the comedy and even Smallhausen had his moments.

However, Mr. Flick is absolutely essential to this show, and it's just pain to watch without the charm of Maria or the hilarious charisma of Sam Kelly's character (can't remember the name right now).

I think this show actually ended where they meant to end it; when the two 'british airmen' returned via balloons.

The rest is just watching them try to reanimate a corpse, it's just not the same.
