Surprising!

I got this movie by mistake and since I had not heard anything about it I looked it up, saw the low rating on IMDB and based on this and the title I thought it'd be somehing akin to a Michael Bay movie, some standard fare kind of stuff.

Well color me surprised when I after 15min felt I wanted to see the rest. I felt it was very realistic for an American movie and I really appreciated how the filmmaker didn't spoon feed the story to the audience.

There were some low points but on the whole it was an extremely enjoyable experience.

I was also (pleasantly) surprised on the ending. No spoilers -- but the different characters kept to their "true selves" and didn't deviate. There was no last minute Villain-Turned-Hero (except for one case and he had a good reason). Not a bad way to spend a 80 minutes.

Well, except for the character who lost her husband, apprently a great love of hers mere days, if not just hourse before and at the end takes up immediately with a another guy. Yeah, the grief sex is one thing, but a whole relationship? That was not so true to character.

I loved the woman spook. She dressed and acted like a very athletic jock about to go to work. Instead of wearing a fancy dress with ridiculous high heel shoes like movies often have women characters wear.

I thought the ending was realistic and well done. Everything isn't tied up in a little bow by the end. Lots of "after movie" possibilities.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
