This movie is misandrist. And I hate that.

After seeing it again after a few years, I really hate this movie now. This movie is offensive to men and went out of it's way to showcase the truly terrible character traits male characters in movies are notorious for. The men are portrayed as homely losers, lazy selfish slobs, or that they treat the women in their lives badly because "that's just how guys are". What a bunch of crap. And I simply could not stay silent about it any longer.

One woman is angry her boyfriend wont marry her. She's convinced he'll leave her for a woman half her age. He rightfully deduces that she's trying to manipulate him, so he leaves. We're supposed to not like him because he did that. And we're supposed to feel sorry for her because her three sisters have men and she doesn't. Barf.

And another woman admits she forced her man into marrying her and is such a humorless shrew and keeps him on such a short tight leash he can barely breathe. And we're supposed to not like him when he sleeps with the blonde hottie. We should all be so lucky, know what I mean?

And the most annoying character in the whole damn thing is the one who says the stupidest things and simply cannot take a hint that no man wants her because of how clingy and insecure she is. That's right, I speak of Gigi. I hated her. Truly, she did not deserve to be with anyone until she could finally grow up and behave like an adult. Seriously, who wrote her dialogue? I hated evvery moment she was in this.

With the exception of the Kris Kristofferson character (he's cool in anything he does), every guy in this was either a wimp who was always walked all over, or manipulative, thoughtless and uncaring, and were made that way so all the female characters could bitch and moan about how insensitive and disrespectful of women they all were. Give me a *beep* break.

And the way the Justin Long dude was stripped of his manhood and robbed of his balls and his backbone in the last part of this, well, I especially hated that. If a woman like Gigi had done to me what she did to his character, I would have told her how much I detested being manipulated, and then call her a heartless bitch and tell her to get the hell out. Men dont need women like that in their lives, believe me. Life's too short, know what I'm saying?

I hate this movie. Apparently it was written and directed by both a man and a woman. That should never happen again. It's too damaging to society. Are you listening, Hollywood?
