The "male witch" with a "magical name"

If this movie's writers and producers where trying to make Wiccans look bad and seem like complete idiots and pushovers, I'd say that they succeeded. Beth wouldnt even look the poor guy in the eye when he was talking to her and she obviously didnt want him there with her. She was upset because she was at the wedding without a date and yeah, that does suck, but she was a real dickette to this poor guy. All because he was homely and he was of a faith that is not widely understood and people who follow it are ofen mocked and ridiculed in this society because of how different and untraditional it is. If he had been a hot hunk stud muffin she would have had a much easier time paying attention to what he was saying. But no, they cast the guy from The Big Bang Theory who isn't much to look at so that they can make fun of Wiccans through some really terrible dialogue. And Beth really should have been nicer to the guy, she shouldnt have taken her bad mood out on him. And he didnt really seem that happy to be there without a date either, but they basically did two offensive things at the same time: make Wiccans look bad AND have a woman barely acknowledge the prescence of a guy because he isnt that good looking and he obviously doesn't have a lot of money. I dont care if she was depressed, I think that the makers of this film handled the situation really poorly. It would have been interesting if they had attempted to give him more of a personality instead of just being a one-dimensional joke of a character who was put in the film so we could see "just how low this poor sad woman had sunk". That's right, she was reduced to be set up with a homely "male witch" who not only had a regular name, he also had a "magical name". What a bunch of crap. I previously thought that Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 did a s***ty job portraying Wiccans, but at least the witch in that stupid movie was pretty hot and they at least TRIED to give her a personality. Too bad it was that of an annoying and preachy girl who got on the other character's nerves. And then they have her die as well. Because why wouldn't they? You know what I mean? Jeezus.

Go fuck a tree or whatever the hell Wiccans do because the guy was a tool and that's why he was ignored by her.
