Pleasently Surprised

I really enjoyed this movie. I love westerns, so I was going to watch this movie anyway. It's tough with Hallmark, either they hit it out of the ball park or they fall flat on their face.

I also really loved the buffers, right before the comercial breaks, when they showed a little teaser of what was coming up, very well done. Kept me intrestead. I also thought the trailer was good, made me want to watch.

I really enjoyed all the performances, over all, not a bad saterday night spent home sick, lol.

It was better than I thought it was going to be, but it wasn't great. There was a lot of nothing going on in the middle; between Sorbo turning in the three brothers for the bounty, and the final shootout, nothing much happened. It might be better as a series, with only an hour to fill?

I thought this movie was great! Kevin did an outstanding job portraying the Preacher,a man who lost his church and the family he loved and became a bounty hunter, only to be given a chance at redemption when he least expected it,in the form of a ex-saloon girl and her daughter. In her few minutes on screen,Sam made an impact as the Preacher's loving wife, who stood by her husband when he had doubts about his calling. It was Sara who, even in death, gave him a reason to go on and it was because of her & their daughter that he sought justice for his town, even though he trusted no one-until he met Maggie. She didn't trust anyone either, not even him at that point, but they learned to trust each other and through that, others around them. I applaud Kevin for a magnificent performance!

This movie was horrible. It was quite obvious that whoever made this movie has never seen a western before. I don't know why the Hallmark channel tried their hand at an action/western movie. The results were disastrous.
