Only Country Music?

I remember this show used to have all types of music, but I saw it on CMT last night and noticed all the songs were Country. Is this true?

When it was on NBC with Joey hosting it was all music now this it's on CMT (haha, does stand for Country Music Television) the majority of the songs are country. You need to watch more episodes though. They do throw a lot of different kinds of music in there. There was Fergie, Beatles, and a lot more non-country people. So no, not all the songs are country but it does make sense for the majority to be country, considering it is on CMT.

No the contestants do not only sing Country music.

I liked the original version better. Although, I liked "Don't Forget the Lyrics" even better. I hate country music so it's not fun because I hardly know any of the songs.

All there is is country music, and even if it/the song/artist were not country the cast singers make it country, and the cast singers can not sing.
