Spider Carcass

On the credits it has a band called Spider Carcass. I can't find anything online. Are they real or just based on a real band(like the movie)?

I'm sorry. I tried searching for more information for you and came up with very little. The only mention of Spider Carcass I found was on the film's myspace page:

"Who I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet like minded fans of the macabre and especially die hard fans of the band 'Spider Carcass'"

I am thinking that the band might not be well known, or just a small town kind of thing. Also consider it's been said that all the actors were found on craigslist. -shrug- :S

It also said at the end that they were "the only band in rock and roll history to have been killed by a plane crash while in a bus."

I just tried to look that up myself. I also can't believe that someone actually recorded "Turkey in the Straw" in 2006. How did it not go to number 1 on the pop charts I'll never know. It is so catchy. It's going on my iPod.
