ugh ME

I stopped playing 5 hours in, saying that it was an awful game. The enemies are just WAY too good at shooting, even on Normal. They rarely ever miss, and when they come at you at all sides it's almost impossible for you to hide. Extremely irritating, and I hated the ammo and reload system, not to mention the aiming. Aside from the gun-fighting this game is EXCELLENT.

I intend to start this game again so I can finish it, because the second one just looks way too good to pass up. I only hope they changed the gun-fighting for the better.

I agree, I kept telling my friends that this should've been classed as a survial game, simply as you never get enough ammo, there's loads of enemies and you'll die ALOT. Nevertheless I got my head down and completed it in a week, I'm now in the process of getting 100% of trophies before Uncharted 2 is out.

huh?
the puzzles were easy, dead damn easy.
the sensitivity could be swifter, like halo 3, ala' insane, it would make crushing mode a breeze. that is this games only flaw in combat i find.

puzzles were a joke though.

loved the story, and game play.

It's funny, I found this one harder then Among Thieves! I guess we've all got slightly different strengths and weaknesses in our gaming skills or something?

Really? There were so many things to pass in Among Thieves IMO and it took me 5 days to finish it and I was just playing on normal lol.

Yeah LOL! I only just squeaked Drakes Fortune on Normal and I beat Among Thieves on Crushing! For me though, I'm better with fewer more deadly baddies, than many easy to kill baddies. Maybe you're the other way and that could make the difference?

Wow you beat Among Thieves on Crushing! Good job! I've yet to play it again on hard, but I will, just after I finish some other game first. Yes I'm the other way around! If there are a lot of bad guys but they're easy to kill I just run around maniacally until I kill them all lmao. Bad guys that take concentration to kill make me panicky lol!

I did, although I freely admit it was more to do with sheer persistence than skill! Every time I passed a tricky checkpoint I was geniunely surprised LOL! I tried playing it online the other night - awww man I'm terrible at that!

Hahaha yeah that'll be the difference then - lots of bad guys make me panicky!

Beating Drake's Fortune on 'crushing' is quite possibly the hardest thing ever. (Harder than Among Thieves crushing, imo).

There were a few levels in DF in particular at the end (With Sully in and around the church) that made me want to hurl my PS3 out the window. Plus, the final Boss fight with Navarro was intense pain. I literally died over 30 times until I figured out the right strategy, lol. But, it felt very satisfying to beat it :)

Yeah I barely squeaked past that church bit on Normal! Ye godfathers it was tricksy! So hats off for being able to beat it on Crushing.. I don't think I'll ever be able to even try it cos I'll never crack it on Hard!

But with 'hard', I admit I used some of the tweaks (like slo-motion sometimes) and often equiped power-weapons.

However, with 'crushing' it wont let you use any tweaks at all, lol, I guess Naughty Dog wanted to make sure people really earned it the tough way, ha ha.

Ooh I didn't realise you could do that on hard if you hadn't already completed it without tweaks - I might bear that in mind hahaha!

I can understand this game behind hard for people who haven't played a "cover-system" shooter before (eg. Gears of War), but c'mon guys - I'm not a serious gamer and while I found the game challenging, not so hard that it will forever be remembered as a "hard game".

The only part I found frustrating to the point of tedium was the chapter where you head upstream on the jet ski. Awful, awful chapter...
