Just started playing it, boring as hell

Maybe this just isn't my kinda game, but I've come to chapter 8 (can't remember the name), and so far it's all been the same over and over.

A few riddles, figure out how to get past/over/under whatever is in my way, get to a spot where I get shot at for 5 minutes until I kill the baddies. After that, there is a few riddles etc etc...

Does this game get more exciting at a later time, or does the fact that I don't like it now mean I propably won't like it further on?

You sir are wrong :D

This and the second are the best games you can get on the ps3 in my opinion :P

To each his own though. I dont like sports games but loads of people love them :)

I dont think you'll like it further on tbh. The reason I enjoy it is because of the level designs but if you didn't like them up to there then i doubt you'll like them further on :P

Try and complete it cause it is a good game but if u feel your wasting your time then try another game :)

hazzawinter I totally agree! Part of why I love the games so much are the environments. They are fantastically rendered.

I know how you feel man. I actually just finished the game on Normal and I must say the story was good but I hated the action aspect. It being an action game I had to force myself through it - and I usually love action games. The story was good and the graphics, presentation, voice-acting, etc. were all amazing and I can't say enough about them, but it was wayyyyyyyyyyyy too boring of a formula. Solve puzzle, walk, shoot, hide, walk, solve puzzle, shoot, hide, walk, blah blah blah. I know most action games are like this, but the action elements were not fun for me. I died alot and found it nearly impossible to implement any melee into the game at all without being shot to my last shade of gray immediately. All in all I'm going to read up on the second game and maybe rent it. Hopefully it doesn't make me hate every fire fight I step into like this one did.

While I strongly disagree with both of you, (I just beat the game on normal and loved every second of it), the second game may be more to your liking. There are a ton more environments, faster pacing, and better gameplay, from what I hear. I can't wait to scrape enough money together to get it for myself.

I have heard this complaint a lot and I just have to ask are you people terrible at video games or something? I mean I don't want to sound insulting but the action in this game was not hard at all. I am by no means a hardcore gamer, I buy a new game every once in a while that has a good story and catches my eye and I had no problem with this game. I played it through on hard and did not die nearly as much as it seems some of you all did. It was challenging at times on hard but by no means hard to the point where it got frustrating and boring. And on that note do you people really want a game that is ridiculously easy? I enjoy games that give you a challenge and make you earn your progress.

Hard only? I finished the game on crushing.
Now when i'm done with the first 3 I'm going over to Brutal difficulty and then play Uncharted 4.
