I find it hard to believe that Carrie would forgive Big this time

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Carrie was blameless throughout all the breakups over the years, but seriously? He freaks out a minute before the wedding and leaves her humiliated. Whats more he pathetically tries to call her on her mobile seconds before the ceremony, what bride answers her phone at that time? Then apart from a few sappy emails, he doesn't even attempt to go round her apartment, turn up at places he knows she may be? But after all of that, "It wasn't logic, it was love"? Give me a break, I wouldn't mind if there was a lead up to their reconciliation, but it just came out of no where after she saw the emails. I've always rooted for Carrie and Mr Big, but this just seemed silly to me

"What you don't like rice? Tell me Michael, how can a billion Chinese people be wrong?"

It was the same old story -- he gets afraid of commitment, she forgives him. I guess they tried to mix it up in the second movie with marital boredom and kissing Aidan but that wasn't very believable. I remember someone suggested if Carrie hesitated on the wedding and bailed momentarily since we've seen her be terrified of marriage before. I think it was hard to buy the story as is after she was so depressed for months to just forgive him. I think it would have been more interesting to try a story line where he had to forgive her or realize he loves her and shouldn't take her for granted.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Why didn't Big just roll down the damn car window and call her over?? Or step out of the car to talk to her??? He was RIGHT THERE and SO WAS SHE. Yeah, their pre wedding break up made no sense.
And e mailing her all those *love letters* was just awful.
Geeze, Mr. Big, if u want her back then make an effort.

I agree.

To me she was always a loser and weakest of them all , guy is treating you like crap for years and you going back for more ??!! I hope there will be part 3 of s&c where he is dumping her sorry ass again and she will finally start acting like " oh god I was so stupid all this years , hope no women will ever look at me as any kind of role model ever "

it was Miranda's fault because big dumped Carrie ???? If he was a man truly in love , no one would be able to change his mind ! but then all Carrie is is just being reduced to some puppy that big decided to keep at the end for his own amusement , and buy expensive collar for her

I agree.. that is unforgivable. Also like the above posters stated, the whole thing was such a mess. He could have easily discussed it with her discretely if he was uncomfortable.. she should have also heard him out when she saw him driving back toward the library instead of lashing out and leaving. Also the e-mails were totally unromantic to me.. with him just sending other people's poems. Weren't they separated for over 6 months? That was not very many e-mails..LOL... he could have gotten a hold of her if he wanted here again. They make it seem like he is disabled and just unable to express himself or his feelings clearly.

Haha, I can't imagine Carrie calmly hearing him out in the middle of a NYC street, dressed in full wedding garb, while back at the library Samantha and Stanford are informing the guests that there will be no wedding. There were just no words Big could have said to rectify that situation.
Although, I do wonder if Carrie had listened to Big, what would Big have said???
Sorry, Carrie, but your best friend, Miranda, said that I was crazy to get married so it made me change my mind about this wedding...but now I changed my mind again....let's go do it. Hopefully some guests and the minister are still there....
If he did say that, do you think Carrie would have swung on Miranda "You bitch! How dare you undermine our relationship w your bitterness over your own marriage!"?
