Restore Honor and Dignity to the White House

Eight years ago, the Republicans campaigned on this slogan.

After two Bush terms, they're using it again.

So, did Bush not get the job done?

What makes them think McCain will do any better?

Interesting. You didn't answer a single question. It's not surprising you support McPalin; they don't answer questions either. Obviously, it's because they have nothing to say.

You obviouslly are delighted with the country as it is and want no changes made. If Chicken McPalin is invented, everything will continue just as it has for the last eight years.

Enjoy.

pninson, the country is fine. There are things that need to be worked on...like always.

Just relax, no big change is going to happen regardless of who gets elected, but McCain will probably win.

I think there is honor and dignity in the White House now.

If there is honor and dignity in the White House now, why is McCain campaigning on the theme of restoring it?

Apparently you disagree with him.

McCain has no economic plan (other than to continue the Bush tax cuts). He has no health care plan, and no comprehensive energy plan. A few months ago he said, "This is one crisis we can't drill our way out of." Now he's saying, "Drill, drill, drill." The man has changed his position on almost every issue. He cares only about being elected and has jettisoned whatever integrity he may have had. He will do and say anything to get elected.

Such a man is not to be trusted.

Restore honor and dignity to The White House?

I thought we had; but if you want somebody in there who knows the power of a good blow job, well-then-there-sonny-you-go-for-it.

reply

Oh please, as if a blowjob or marital infidelity have anything at all to do with a persons' ability to be president of the united states....unjust wars that result in the deaths of thousands versus a blowjob....

I support Obama/Biden.

I hate Bush's guts, and I don't think McCain is right for this job, and as for Sarah Palin: I just feel like she's an idiot (The Katie Couric interview for example, perfectly parodied in Saturday Night Live. ) I hope I'm not rambling on the Palin issue, but who besides people in her own state has actually HEARD of her before she was chosen as VP hopeful?

Let's put a smile on that face!

The thing that really concerns me about the McCain/Palin ticket is that John McCain only met Palin twice before he decided on her as his running mate (after Lieberman was turned down by the Republican party for being pro-choice - how's that for McCain's bi-partisan politics?), and that she genuinely considers being able to see Russia from her coastline as foreign policy experience...

How is that even remotely defendable?

Fine! But I've been hearing of Joe Biden since 1972. I was 19, then, and I'm 55 now. Frankly, I've had enough. And whereas you may 'feel' Sarah Palin is an idiot, I know with certainty Joe Biden is. Or do you too believe FDR went on television to rally Americans after the Black Thursday of 1929?

"When Clinton lied, nobody died."

Hey, if a BJ means a $3 Trillion surplus then I'm gonna go start recruiting some ladies of the night to start getting comfortable under the desk in the oval office. Maybe I'll even be nice and chip in for a nice box of fine Cuban cigars.

I know this is a little late (I just watched the movie now) but that line made me laugh. I have been reading some books and watching a few docos and movies about US politics recently and most of these Presidents I would not trust to walk my dog, terrible human beings.
