I just saw a finishing cut of this film, about the first 20 minutes - IT is amazing!!! The message is phenomenal. The photography is incredible. And as for Dan the Milkman - he does a great job as "Christian."
This film should be a “HUGE HIT” with the correct distribution and launch DRC to a greater level.
Bottom line – it is the message…

I can't say when it was released, but it's out right now. I just watched a copy that my dad checked out from our church library.
I loved this movie a lot (I've never read the book but always wanted to), but it also has an added layer for me, since it was filmed in and around Lynchburg, VA, and I just graduated from Liberty University. The man who played Knowledge (David Partie) was my German professor last year. (I wasn't expecting to see him, so I had to laugh... especially since I started noticing all his usual quirks...)
I just purchased a used copy for $10 plus at amazon.com.
