Don't judge a movie by it's trailer...

I've read the posts and have not seen the trailer. However, I just reviewed parts of the movie and was Extremely impressed! It is amazing how some people can post judgements from a fraction of film. That would be like sitting on a roller coaster ride before it starts moving and saying the ride sucked! Everyone will see what God can do on a "low budget"!

Thanks, chris-4918. My sentiments exactly. Having worked ON that movie myself, I commend Danny Carrales for a phenomenal job with a limited budget. It's the kind of movie that should make the true Christian filmmakers proud! I'm proud to have been a part of it.

I've been following the "Christian Film Movement" for a while and this looks like the most ambitious production yet. I'll probably will purchase this just to see what was done. BTW, Hollywood still has made the most impressive "Christian" movies to date. The personalities in this movement have a long long way to go before they can match the production values that Hollywood has available to tap.

Just saw the movie. Yes, I was impressed with how good the production design looked with so little budget. The acting needed some work, but was passable. But the one drawback was this was not shot on film and looked it. The masses will not pay ten dollars to see a feature film in a movie theater that doesn't look like it was shot on film. That's not likely to change any time soon. Still, on the balance , a really good entertainment. (8 out of 10)

I'ld say this movie is pretty good considering the budget. Its greatest strength is the source material which despite taking a modern approach it says pretty true to.
