Only 8 episodes? That's a pretty short season, unless they're just on hiatus. Any particular reason for the lack of eps?

That's just how they do it over in the U.K.

Each of the seasons only had 8 episodes. Shorter seasons = less filler = better story. That's why a lot of British TV only has like 13 episode seasons (Torchwood/Doctor Who etc)

It seemed to me like the series came to a complete end at the end of season 2 and I was actually incredibly shocked to find out a couple of weeks ago that there has been season 3 and which has just been released on DVD. I'm kind of pissed off because it's actually been screening here in Australia on one of the new digital channels (GEM) but I assumed that it was just old episodes from season 1 and 2 when I saw 'Secret Life of a Call Girl' in the tv guide.
