Did the main actors not want to do it anymore or the ratings weren't high enough? Was there a particular reason the show ended? The finale didn't feel like it was meant to be the final ending. It definitely left it open for another season/series, which makes me think the writers/whoever weren't aware it would be over. What happened?

I think it was ended in more of a true life way. It was left open cause life is open. Belle is a new person and she can do whatever she wants to do. Ben can now go on with his life. Honestly i wish that Bambi was still on the show.
shareThe writers and everyone involved knew it would be the last season when they filmed it. They said that they felt that there just wasnt much more they could do with it. The story had come to a natural end and they didnt want to drag it out.
I think Billie was also very ready to move on and try new things. Years or stripping and fake bonking on camera was starting to get to her. She didnt feel that it was something a young mother should really be doing.
But yeh it was left in a way that it would be easy to pick up again if they suddenly wanted to do another series. I know that they said it would be the last series but I really wouldnt be suprised if they did a one off special or something in the futurer.
