Hey, thanks for your response! It might be some time till I get to #4, I am planning to obtain #1 next month, with #2 in December - I want the US version with the more attractive box covers. There were a couple of comments re Billy Piper that I found quite unreasonable. Sparked by jealousy, envy and low self-esteem, I'm sure. Fault-finding haters. As somebody with experience of the show, how would you rate it? The show itself? Hot? Classy? Fun? At first glance, that bit I downloaded, she seemed like a beautiful girl up over her ears in trouble, a train wreck but a pretty train wreck, mind you. Recently saw WALK OF SHAME, something like that, only this girl is no drawn-in innocent party like in that movie. I'm looking for hot fun, classy not sordid, but a naughty, likeable character, and I'm sure there will be lots of wild, unforgettable stuff here, a girl I would love to root for!

I would certainly recommend it. It is quite a glamorous, sexy show. Although it obviously has darker and not as pleasant themes throughout too given the subject matter. Some great sets and costumes too. The sets and costumes get increasingly lavish with each season as they kept getting a higher budget.
Yeh a train wreck is probably a good way to describe Billie Piper's character Hannah/Belle. Although she likes to think that she really has everything under control she can be quite self destructive and make bad decisions. Although those bad decisions can often lead to an interesting story. And yeh, Hannah/Belle is definitely no innocent!
In short, yes I think the show ticks all the boxes of what you want from it. And Billie Piper is great in it.

You're making me look forward to it even more! There are thousands of stuff out there I am interested in, of which only a few dozen land on my shortlist, and then I must choose only the best. Clearly I am on the right track. Thanks!
