Help! Trying to find quote from movie

I watched the film when it aired on ABC TV and I believe it was in the first half hour that the actor who plays Curtin looks into the screen and says something along the lines of "Beware of what you wish for rack and ruin may come your way" or something like that. If anyone can help me track the exact words I'd be very grateful!
