The house isn't on fire only the barn. (just rewatched that brief scene again) You can see him walking towards the fire and the fire itself faintly in his glasses.

Very surprised no one has answered this for you. So disappointed in this movie. Had a great trailer but so many possible plotlines just go into nothing.

His last words were with certainty "I listened to it about 5 times to be sure"

"I Got Them All"

Though most of the other messages in the forums seems like everyone talks about the rape the most but I am confident it is "I got them all" instead of "we got them all" because David was a prick as well.

The house was already going to catch fire as the barn was set on fire by the other rapist who wasn't Charlie before he attempted to subdue Amy.

His words were "I got them all" as he is quite self involved. Amy took 1 out herself and gave him the chance to take Charlie out but he essentially acts as if she didn't do a damn thing. He just kind of brushes her on the shoulder as he walks past. If he actually cared they would be embracing "Wow we survived this horrible ordeal"

The tagline of the entire movie doesn't take effect until the last 20 minutes of it? This movie was so much crap.

Other unanswered questions. What happened to Jeremy? He just kind of disappears. He isn't shot he doesn't escape.

Another possibility is that David set the house on fire himself. The siege at the end is supposed to Mirror the book he is writing about Stalingrad and being overwhelmed. Neither David or Amy respected eachother. David was an elitist *beep* but in a passive agressive way. Where she didn't really trust him evidenced by her changing the date on his blackboard so it was incorrect. He also didn't really pay any attention to her and when he introduced her to people he started to say "Amy" at one point and switched it "coldly to "my wife" as in my property.

She didn't tell him about the rape because he wouldn't of done anything.

Another misconception. He wasn't protecting Jeremy at all. He was saving his own ass that he had hit him with a car. Amy says we should go to the hospital he dismisses it because of how "far away it was" Neither of them had any medical training so they couldn't really do anything to help him. he just wanted to hide the evidence of his hitting him.

The movie sucked so badly but there are a handful of moments that shine. 30 minutes of an hour and 40 minute movie being halfway decent equals garbage though.
