I've seen easily over 100 Troma films, but 'Actium Maximus' was the only one I couldn't finish all the way through. It actually surpasses the label of "bad movie" and thrusts straight into "neo-surrealist art"...it has little to no regard for anything resembling coherency. It's actually kind of admirable.
I liken 'Actium' to the cinematic equivalent of Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music"...an endurance test/assault on the senses. If you can sit all the way through it, you're a better man/woman than most...but once you do, you realize there was never really any point in doing so.
And at least 'Star Worms II' had an awesome poster.
