Cool series. A definite opposite to Kabuto.

I'm a big fan of Kabuto.
This kamen rider series is like an exact opposite of Kabuto.

Where as Kabuto was mostly serious with some funny moments added in and has a skillful and badass main hero (tendou souji).

Den O is the opposite. Most of Den O is goofy and comical. It doesn't take itself very seriously and most of it just funny comedic things.
The main character of Ryotaro is annoying and wimpy. He's the definite opposite of Tendou who's skillful, cool, calm and in control.

I still personally prefer Kabuto because of the better story and main character.
But Den O is also pretty fun.

I agree that is the complete opposite of kabuto (i've watched both series), but i love them both, Kabuto because it is so serious and Tendou is really a cool character, and Den-O because it is so hilarious and they did a great job with the 4 imagins that when Ryotarou is possesed it really is a great performance of the actor.

I agree.
Both Kabuto and Den-O are great for their own reasons:

Kabuto has action, great cast, full of japanese cultural references and a deep story and plot.

Den-O has comedy, great cast, full of japanese cultural references and a "larger than life" storyline/plot that is full of imagination (lol "imagin"), creativity and humour.

I gotta admit, the cast of Den-O are very entertaining including Then 4 Imagins (and + Sieg, Deneb), The Den-Liner crew (Naomi, Owner, Hana), The cafe/Library crew (Airi and those two guys), almost practically everyone as well as the guest stars every episode.

Kabuto has a great cast too, but they're mostly serious compared to Den-O.
