Was it ever mentioned who the father was? I might have missed it with the messed up subtitles I had. But I wonder if it might have been her father? That would explain why she didn't want the children to stay with him while she was in jail.

I have no idea why he wasn't living with them and why Sanna goes and stays in Rebecca's place at the start of the movie.
I also have no idea why the kids don't go to him, their father, when Sanna is arrested.
Curt was not the father of Sanna's children. In the cabin what is mentioned by Thomas is that Curt should kill Sanna's children so he can have others with her. The father of the girls isnt mentioned in the film.
