Where can I purchase Clannad?

Hi,
I am interested in viewing Clannad. I went to amazon dot com, and they have it for sale, but it's 155 US dollars, for disc 1!! Can anyone suggest where I can purchase it at a more reasonable price?

It hasn't finished airing yet, and the Amazon was probably the 2 ep Japanese DVD or a bootleg.

:) I think you are the person that got me interested in Clannad, over on the Air thread.

The item listed at Amazon is a pre-order. The Amazon page claims it is 1 disc, with a release date of 18 December, 2007. I assume it was late being released, because it still isn't in stock at Amazon.

FYI for anyone that stumbles onto this thread. The version of Clannad on amazon is the original japanese region 2 version. So, even if it was affordable, it doesn't have an English voice track, or even subtitles. At least not yet.

It will probably be licensed soon, maybe from ADV Films who already licensed Air and Kanon 06.

i think the disc on sale does not have the subtitles...i watched all of the Clannad episodes through Veoh, including the Clannad film...if you want you can just watch it there...^_^
