Can you really get 'eroused' off of power?

Nothing gets me aroused that isn't to do with sex. Can this actually happen? How does that work? How do you get an erection purely off of a power trip? Cause that's really creepy.

Sure, why not. There are the weirdest people. Some get turned on by feet, others by dead bodies...

A situation that is psychologically very tense has definitely an effect on the body... and everybody reacts different.

Yeah but to actually get an erection? I can understand loving things, being addicted to them, but it seems like there's some confusion going on in the brain when you're sexually stimulated by totally unrelated things.

I'm not a scientist / doctor whatever... but look at teenagers... they have more erections than they would like to have. I mean, when you're in the classroom and have one for whatever weird reason and the teachers calls you to come infront of the class to the board... well, not so cool...

Yeah that crossed my mind, but I'm excusing teenagers going through puberty because the body is going through a confusing period at the time.

Yes, you can. Barris would be considered a Dominant (or Dom for short) in the BDSM community. However in the BDSM community it is consensual as opposed to the movie.

I would also venture to guess that the years of abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother also led him to feel very powerless and submissive at home. As such, being in the position of a prison guard gives him a sense of power. He has control over what happens. To him that is thrilling and it stimulates him sexually.
