I, too, have not seen this movie yet although the idea of casting Martin Lawrence and Donny Osmond is quite intriguing to me so I will probably see it.
In response to the racist thing let me point out, first of all, that I am white, my parents were white, and their parents were white. Now let me list a few of my favorite (BLACK) actors: Denzel Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Samuel L. Jackson, and most certainly Bill Cosby who, by the way, is more down on the blacks in America (A IS capital by the way) than most white people (with at least half of a brain)!
Perhaps you can explain the rating for The Great Debaters 7.7/10 (7,733 votes), which hosted the presence of almost NO whites. I can assure you that a good number of these votes are from white people. Here is the reason for it's success please pay close attention areef jassin. The story was based on true fact and we Americans (A IS capital AGAIN by the way) are proud of the accomplishments of our people (Black, White, or otherwise).
If you (areef jassin) like movies such as "College Road Trip" it's OK. Don't be so ashamed that you feel the need to manufacture excuses like other peoples lack of appreciation, of the film, for ludicrous reasons. Be proud of your own preferences in spite of others.
By the way, from my perspective, which may or may not by worth a lot, making statements like "america (A is not capital by the way)" (if I understand your intent, and if not disrequard this comment) kind of makes YOU look like the bigot here!!!
