"Babe" Ciarlo

I was completely unprepared for the revelation of Babe's death. When his sister Olga read that letter she'd written to him for his birthday saying how his mom was saving the money he was sending home for him so he could buy nice, new clothes when he got back was absolutely heart breaking. Hearing her voice choke up with such emotion as she read it nearly made me cry myself.

Corado "Babe" Ciarlo's story is the most poignant and heart-felt story in the series. It's very clear that Olga still misses her older brother even 60-years later; the raw emotion is still there. Babe will forever be 20-years old.

Another interview that brought up raw emotions was Asako Tokuno's story about feeling uncomfortable.

There are some things that we experience in life that we never get over.

"Toto, I've [got] a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
