I appear to be alone here...

(in thinking this) but I still have to say this film is absolute fkn dog 5h1t. Don't get me wrong I'm no film snob and I will watch crap but I couldn't even watch it all the way through without skipping forwards.
I downloaded it for free but I'm still not happy about spending part of my life watching it! I can deal with a bad film but I'm shocked at all the positive reviews on here, WTF? It must be cast/crew all posting or something. Deffo conspiracy going on...

Yep, you are alone, and I have no connection with the movie. I guess this says something about you. Suggest you see a doctor, because your probably infected, and one of "them".

Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape!

reply

the movie started good , and gotten predictable and bad later, acting was good, honestly after the half i wanted to skip forward and end it, maybe it was mostly in dark for covering special effects(the alien makeup etc)

reply

So you downloaded it for free and then complain that something you stole doesn't reach your high standards? Hello? Are you serious?

reply

Yes because wasting $15 on the dvd would make the movie better in all ways possible.

reply

It would not, however complaining that you dont like what you get for free is ridiculous.

"If you have a gun, you don't need to work out"

reply

So you're saying that because I paid no money to watch this pos film I have to like it?!

I think you're missing the point.
The point is; DESPITE that fact I saw it for free I still hate this film, and furthermore, I am completely baffled that so many others did like it.

reply

...and another thing, people seem to reviewing films using a sort of handicap system.
e.g. because its low budget then it gets a higher score.

I feel this gives the wrong impression to people who have not seen it. By all means say what you think about how well they spent the budget but if you give it a higher score then people will think its better than it is and be dissapointed when they watch it, like I was.

reply

maybe if you weren't such a cheap douche, indie horror movies would have a bigger budget, entitling them to better actors and better fx

" Go ahead Cornelius, you can cry "

reply

No, im saying since you actually stole the movie you shouldn't complain about it.

No you're not alone ! Who needs this n° 895 (pretty bad) Alien sequel ???

reply

Does it matter if someone 'stole' the film or not? People are still entitled to their opinions and have the complete right to express it

reply

I hate it, and I haven't even seen it :D

reply

meh I would not call it dog *beep* but not that wonderful

It was the "filmakers" who stole this film from The Thing, The Hidden, and I don't think they brought anything new to the market table, like at least The Hidden did in various ways way back in '87.
That's why I hated it - and my high expectations from reviews.

It's a sad fact the most impressive part of the film - the yell from beyond that shook the place - is lifted from that one sequence in The Thing.
But the least impressive point had to be the 28th composer to copy the Aliens metallic shriek again as the alien brushes by.

Talk about filming in the dark for covering special effects. In the making of, they looked really good fully lit. It's just the usual waste filmakers "think" they have to do to make it scarier - I mean muddier - by darkening it, along with the green screen. Ukk.

Colour filters should be used sparingly, not tinge the whole film as is the recent trend, which is sickly.

I haven't seen the Movie yet. But I'm gonna have to agree with Simon. You are Infected! Is there anyone else? If there's too many, then we'll have to Nuke It From Orbit. It's the only way to be sure! You know we have to stop the Infection before it spreads too far! Once that happens then were all done for! In the meantime weve got to Burn You. Incinerate is the more correct term. In a Nuclear Incinerator is the best way. Nothing but powdered ashes then. We can make blocks with You. Or maybe some bricks! Which do You prefer? It would be better if You were Dead before we put You in the Incinerator. But it's not essential! They've tested those Incinerators with pallets stacked with IBM punchcards. Most fires only burn the outside layers. These Nuclear Incinerators turn the whole thing to ash in just a few hours!

I'll watch just about any sci-fi movie, but this was really bad. Don't know how it's not rated "4".

reply

I gave it a "2". A complete waste of time. Just finished it watching but skipped forward two or three times. The production company should've spend some money for light equipment. And for a better writer. Or both.
