Elmo couldn't defend himself? BIG HOLE!!!!!

Big hole in the script. (spoiler) Why didn't Elmo say something to the effect that he wasn't Otis. It's elements like this that totally ruin a film for me. Luckily, it had enough humor to keep me going. How about a sequel because it looks like Otis is on the prowl.
