challenge - list some positive aspects

I think that this film is (unfortunately) a failure in many aspects; I'll give it 2.5 out of 10.

Negative aspects can be easily seen and have already been amply described.

But I believe there are some positive aspects in this film, and I think we should try to extract them.

I'll start....

1) - Tom Nowicki gives an outstanding performance as Aella's adopted father. His may actually be the only good performance in the entire film. He has much more talent and also more experience than any of the other cast members.
But what fascinates me even more is how much of a pro he is. He throws his full weight into his role - he is giving all he has to give, where many another actor would have taken one look at the script, thought "screw this", and phoned it in.
Interestingly, his fight scenes are also among the few fight scenes that do not look bad or ridiculous. Apparently, fight scenes are not only about technique and choreography, but also about real acting, making the audience believe that you are fighting for your life or that there are things at stake.
