Is anyone else waiting for another traditional Kitano movie ? It doesn't have to have a lot of violence, but it doesn't need to be extremely avant-garde either. A drama or at least some kind of theme film would make me very happy. I'm sure this movie will be enjoyable to watch, as all of Kitanos work is, but I do not think it will be as breathtaking as say - Hana-Bi. I would also be very interested to see Kitano take on a romance...

This movie is crap. The whole time, I wanted him to commit suicide... not the doll for making such a crappy movie. I do like comedy movies, but this wasn't funny at all. Just series of stupidity.
I'm hoping he will make more traditional Kitano films as well.
This movie blows. The lewd slapstick humor towards the end made me want to not finish a Takeshi movie for the first time ever. Well I did, and told my wife: "Let's never speak of this movie again".
First half was ok to watch, I was simply hoping it would get better. Later on it was just a waste of time.
