Wow.

Venice Film Festival now has a Kantoku Banzai! prize which has been awarded to (obviously) Takeshi Kitano for Kantoku Banzai! this year.

I wonder what the criteria for winning this prize is? - "Most outrageously self-indulgent insight into the crazy mind of a director of the year"??
