Not bad, but needs tweaking
Opening monologue with Lewis: good.
The discussion portion. Very bad. I can see people losing focus here. Way too slow. They should allow the two debaters to interact much more, more argumentative. The two performers may as well be on separate sets.
Ripple of Evil. Very funny. Great non-linear speeches. From Oprah to seal world domination. From Catholic Church to mass cannibalism. I love non-linear thinking like that.
Final resolution: We've already heard enough from the debaters, no need for a 'conclusion' from them. Give the rest of the time to Lewis.
Overall: So-so. Starts good, got bad, but picked back up on the end. I know this is staged to be like a courtroom, but it doesn't mean you have to choke the comedy to force yourself into a theme. Let them argue more interactively in the middle, maybe have Lewis jumping in with the snarky comments. Closing arguments, scrap it entirely and just go to Lewis's judgment.
I'll watch it, but after the already-filmed batch of episodes, I would expect some serious refining. The show has potential.
[edit] Almost forgot. If they pick up the pace of the show, they won't need the laugh track.
