This show is bloody brilliant.

especially porn v. youtube. I don't see why people give this show such a low ranking. I think that are bitterly disappointed are mostly Lewis Black fans hoping that he would dominate the show. I like this show it satirizes pop culture. It doesn't matter who is evil in the end it is pop culture and the inane things which it glorifies. I hope this shows gets a second season. I mean if crap like drawn together managed three seasons why can't this? I didn't even notice that some episodes used laugh tracks. I don't think a live audience is right for this kind of show, but it is insanely funny. Youtube, bring me a farting panda.

Actually, I think the show's humor is too stupid and obvious. If it's going over someone's head, they're either five years old, braindead, or a koala bear.

The problem with this show is that, for one thing, most of the topics are either outdated or have been parodied far too many times to be funny anymore. American Idol, Paris Hilton, and Dick Cheney mockery all hit their peaks two or three years ago. Another problem with the show is that, if the jokes are even dumber than what's being mocked, it's just not funny.
Also: Greg Giraldo's a douchebag.

Root of all Evil is an excellent show that is sharply written and comically performed with a mock seriousness that may be too subtle for some people. It is also a time capsule of this era that will outlive much of the mediocre fare that blights the media these days.

This is one of the best shows CC has had in a while. The usual schedule is pretty much Daily Show/Colbert 5 times a day and then they throw in Mad TV and Scrubs in there, Stand Up Comedy on Fridays, and South Park late at night. It needs more variety. Better this, than gay ass Carlos Mencia.

I like the show but I only have one complaint Blacks(one of my favorite stand-up comedians)lines sound too scripted to me when he says them.I don't find them up to par with his stand-up but it's a minor issue and as long as the two "prosecutors" are funny i can live with it.

I like this show it satirizes pop culture.

That's the problem. What these days DOESN'T satirize pop culture? It doesn't cover anything that hasn't be mocked to death already. There's a definite point where such snarky cynicism stops being funny and starts being tedious and hollow, and this show's gone well past that point.
