The first Rest Stop was okay but this one was just total crap. In fact the overflow of human crap in the mobile outhouse fits perfectly with this movie.

The only reason most guys will watch beyond 30 minutes is the hot chick in shorts. The goofy nerd who doesn't have enough sense to hurry & finish his "business" was just too stupid. When I'm using the bathroom in a strange place I make sure I do it and get the heck out! But this nerd takes a magazine in the outhouse with him?

The original premise would have been better had it just been a serial killer who stalked that area of highway. There have been true stories of serial killers, believed to be truck drivers who are believed to have left girls bodies left over several states (including Tennessee where I live). That is creepy and for anyone who has had to travel the interstates at night the thought of breaking down, etc. is always scary.

However, if I had been at the Rest Stop (in the first film) I would have walked for 30 miles if necessary to escape (staying outta sight of guys in yellow tricks with lights on top)...

Yep... I liked the first film despite the fact it was a cheesy B movie. But wow they really dropped the ball with this one. Ugh 90% of the dialogue was just horrible. Jared banging Nicole's Ghost? really? Nicole writhing and orgasming was just rediculous. the outhouse part wasn't necessary. Marilyn constantly swearing wasn't needed. the cussing and sexual convos wasn't needed. the half *beeped* ending wasn't needed. I really liked the music and score by Bear McReary and the return of the RV family. I think the actors who portray them are great and that they weren't overused.

The series came full circle and doesn't need to go on. The movie frustrated me because I kinda like the first one and was really let down by this installment. The first one may not win any awards but was light years better then this film. Such good ideas that were wasted on a lazy script.

the highlights for me were learning more about that rv family and finding out they killed KZL303 making him the killer he is

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

I'm sure we'd all love to see more "i wouldn't do that" internet people get killed by homicidal truck driving ghosts.

They're among some of the most annoying people in fiction and even worse in real life. Because there you know someone didn't write them to be "the annoying character". They actually enjoying living like that.
