Overweight??

You're right, she was obese.

Yeah, she was curvy, a few extra pounds, but I would hardly call her overweight or obese.

She was not thin but she was not fat either. But she was mentally ill so in her mind everything about her was wrong or not good enough. The mind can make you believe terrible things if it is not functioning properly.

I would say she's overweight by 1990's standards.
