Do you think Mickey Rourke just did the movie to dress up as Elvis on screen lol

In the poster's defence, this doesn't seem to be the official poster, rather the one used at sales markets in order to get interest from investors prior to the film being shot. It's why they have the line about the credits being non-contractual at the bottom of the poster - the film at that time probably hadn't been made yet, so the actors could still have changed. It's why they have credits for two script writers who didn't end up with final writing credit. Presumably they wrote an earlier draft that was later changed significantly enough to lose them the credit. Still - pretty stupid that they got Mickey Rourke's name wrong all the same.

And there's no defence for the film itself. That was indefensible.

How they got someone to bend 15mil$ for this horrible horrible movie, is just beyond me.

Right? And to think that there are really great movie ideas being passed up for sh!ts like this one.
