Saw this movie mentioned in the show 'Sons of Guns', where they manufacture a MAC-11 that safely fires blanks for the movie. One of the crew gets a chance to play one of the 'body guards' for the major bad guy.
So, will this be a 'straight to video' movie?

it seems like it and it has that feel for a straight to video movie in sons of guns. but it could very well be a real movie coming out soon. tho highly i doubt we will see "chris" in the movie as that whole shot looked incredibly fake to me.
fake to the point the sons crew set that segment up with their people w/ assistance from second unit on the courier.
the biggest selling factor of FAKE to me was when they showed the producers playback tent and showed them shooting chris's 3 second shot with a very clean very edited video on a playback screen.. cause HD and 35mm are great and the playback looks good but those monitors don't show 1080p quality being shot at the words "rolling rolling".
i watch sons to laugh at the sheer absurdity of the show... theres too much that they dont show us to prove to us it is real and a whole lot they do show that any moron with half a brain of gun knowledge can do. and the owner is like "okay we do magic time now turn the cameras off".."ok and were are back now we paint with powder coat and we polish and oh look charley is cleaning a gun for our buyer..." okay we see A and C but where the *beep* is B!!
Why the heck would they show you all the 'magic' that would allow any competitor to copy their design and engineering?
Give me a break...

their design and engineering isn't anything new its all been done before!! redjacket markets custom AR's, shotguns and AK's. your buying the redjacket product when you purchase a gun from them i know gun makers who can get me the same thing at the same cost at a quicker turn around..
i'm sorry but atleast american gun is a far more believeable show to me.
charley and joe are the only ones with valid reasons not to be shown to us they make explosives and bombs they would get in serious trouble for doing that.
but what vicne and chris do putting together AR's all day anyone whos ever fired or cleaned an AR knows exactly what those 2 are doing..
So, was Kris from Sons of Guns in this movie for two seconds? Did that make it into the movie?
sharenope i saw the film backwards and forwards and as i called erlier in my post it looked very staged..
guess what yup it was staged to look real for the cameras of sons of guns.
so did red jacket supply guns umnn..yes..?? was chris in it? no!
