What's wrong with you people? What so shocking about a 15 year old girl doing a lead role opposite a star who is over twice her age? They are just doing their jobs, and nothing else. It's not like they are engaging in an actual amorous relationship. And this is not Hannsika's first movie as a lead actress. She has already done a Telugu film in this capacity. By the way, she also played a rape victim in the movie "Jaago" -- as a child artist. This girl has no qualms about her roles.
There are no exaggerated love scenes in this movie. No overt exposure on Hansika's part. And she looks so mature and grown up, that one would be hard put to guess her age at 15. Even her voice has a deep husky quality, much like Shusmita Sen. She is a good actress and I am sure she will go places, God Willing.
And one more thing. Himesh is not 38, he is 34. Check out his profiles at wikipedia and Bollywoodgate.com (which by the way is included in the 'miscellaneous' sites about HR in his profile at IMBD). When on internet, always check your facts at least thrice before repeating them anywhere else. Lots of errors happen here.
One last thing about movie. It's not that bad at all as so many participants here claim it to be. It has a marvelous sound track, HR's acting is very okay and I am sure he will improve with time, supporting cast is quite good. The only thing actually wrong with the movie (and which so far has escaped everyone's notice) is the way it was constructed. Had it been told straight-forward (build-up of the love story in the first half and the roller-coaster thriller ride in the second) it would have looked much better.
That said, please don't act like HR did something awful by casting a very young actress opposite himself. Age difference doesn't show that much on screen. And also, HR's face has a certain kind of innocence to it, which diminishes this gap even further.
Best of wishes to you all. Take care. Allah Hafiz.
