Other good war series?

I've seen Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and Gen Kill. Any others worth watching? (Inc documentaries)

Fx made 1 about the middle east and was good. Can't remember the name. But it was in Fx As a series.

Not a series, but made by hbo and a different take on ww2. When the trumpets fade.

Maybe "Over There"?

That was corny as hell

Try Generation War in German about 5 friends prior to Barbarossa through end of war, less action and broader scope but pretty good

Yeah it was, I had really high hopes but dumped it after a couple of eps.

The series called Tour of Duty set during the Vietnam War is also fairly watchable.

Tour of Duty run through the late 1980's up until 1990.

M*A*S*H also has great characters and actors, and the same irreverent humour. In addition to the TV series, there's also a film.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
