interesting film, but boring

It was a very compelling subject and the actors were phenomenal. But the dreary surroundings and annoyingly constant blue tint combined with scenes of little dialogue--it got to be tedious after a while. For the most part, it did convey the emotion of the characters, but I think the film could've been better if they had added some lighter mood scenes.

Because even in a person undergoing such a decision, wouldn't they have some happy moments? I also would've liked to see her interact more with Vando...

You are boring. Learn exactly what projection is, and see if you can't enjoy a great little film more, if you simple stop cumming and projecting all over it.

Non-U.S.-made movies are usually light on dialogue, especially dramas. It can take some getting used to, but it's generally a good thing. It at least means that the film's director and/or writer trust the audience enough to believe that the audience doesn't need characters to tell it what is happening in the movie. It is an approach that usually requires extra engagement on the viewer's part, but having to pay attention to what is happening onscreen is not a bad thing.

As far as boring goes . . . this movie has turtle surgery, violent sexual assault/humiliation, angry parents, and awkward/frightening first-time sex. If that's your idea of boring, I'm afraid that you've been up to some very dangerous and potentially illegal things lately, black-monkey. ;-)
