What I think happened after the movie

Bobby, of course, wins the All-American. Since Miss Jackie Nelson and Jim Klecan were shown to be in love, they most likely got married and had a couple children. Dennis Billings, after showing remorse and regret for how he treated Tommy, now spends more quality time with Tommy and let's Tommy contribute to building soapboxes. Tommy and Bobby also become close friends.
