I've been playing the game recently and I noticed that when you level up an ability and your character does the charge thing, it really seems familiar like maybe in an other video game or superhero movie or something anyway the power up thing seems really familiar and I can't place it. Is it just me?

I think it's a generic sort of reaction so it'll feel very familiar but I suppose the closest like-for-like scene is the quickening from the Highlander movies. IMO

it looks kind of like how zero suit samus gets her power suit back, but this was before SSBB.
