What other ghost movies are similar to Ghost Town? Help!

I came up with one in my head wondering if it would be just like Ghost Town and now I can't remember which movie that was. List some movies that had the same concept and story line with a ghost and a living person that can see them. It wasn't Over Her Dead Body, Hearts and Souls, Chances Are or Ghost. And I don't think it was Just Like Heaven, All of Me, or Heaven Can Wait either. Dammit, this is driving me crazy. There's got to be more movies like this one.

Ghost Dad. All Dogs Go to Heaven.

I can't say these really hit the mark based on Ghost Town. One is widely considered awful, and the other is primarily a children's movie. Heart and Souls is much closer.

reply

I haven't see the movie, but is it similar to Ghost? Because it kinda looks like it. The premise is very similar I'd say.

I deem you were thinking of Heart Condition with Bob Hoskins and Denzil Washington, but I could be wrong. I'm sure you're not thinking of The Sixth Sense.

I found it to be a Heart & Souls/Ghost/Sixth Sense combo - Only Funny.GET. AWAY. "MY BUSINESS IS TO CREATE"

reply

Why not? The Sixth Sense is about dead people (ghosts) with unfinished business. Ghost Town us about ghosts whose survivors have unfinished business. One is practically the mirror image of the other. When I saw Ghost Town, The Sixth Sense came immediately to mind.

This reminded me a little bit of the movie Always with Holly Hunter. As I recall, that movie was also about the living letting go of their loved ones that had died.
