Actually, you're correct about him losing his ability since he "died" twice in the film. As a matter of fact, due to the possibility of never seeing ghosts again after being revived twice, the last time he saw the ghosts was right after he was ran over and "considered dead" until the film progressed to show that he's been in a coma the whole time. I do however feel abandoned like everyone else trying to figure out what he did to help everyone else that kept bothering him. But then again, Frank said that if Pincus "helped", he'd "make them go away and never be seen again".

How is it a plot hole? People throw around the 'plot hole' statement like it's candy.

They don't explain it. They don't address it. That doesn't mean anything.

So, he sees dead people for the rest of his life. What would it matter? He'd learn to deal with it the way he learned to deal with those we saw him with. Or he learns to ignore them and move on with his life.

Not every 't' needs to be crossed, or 'i' dotted in every movie.

What happened to the dogs mouth odour?

What kind of ring did he buy her as an engagement ring?

Was it Peruvian gold?

Did they get engaged?

How many kids did they have?

Did they have kids?

How did he reconcile his relationship with Dr Prashar?

Do they stay living in Manhattan?

God! Don't you hate it when they leave these huge plot holes in movies?
