I've just started watching the movie, but...

I found a prison video clip on youtube. [wow] That would be the ultimate dehumanizing punishment for him...turn him into a half woman with breasts to get *beep* by men to stay alive and then get high all the time to numb himself.

Another interesting point is on Wiki it says his brain was briefly examined to show abnormalities, and in the movie it shows strong psychological abuse and suggests physical abuse. A strong hypothesis would be he underwent extreme trauma that overloaded his brain, and who knows what else happened to him. Aside from the punishment/justice aspect, it would be interesting and valuable to know the genesis of how this all came about. We are all human there is some connection amongst us.
