Historical accuracy goes AWOL here

There is so much wrong with this version of events, you need to just watch it as fiction.

The dialog was so stupid and obviously embellished. Like the doctor verbally abusing him and guaranteeing to keep him alive so he could suffer for a long time. And the detective strangling him in the hospital. I highly doubt these things happened. I've seen the doctor interviewed and it seems a stretch to imagine he'd be that unprofessional. You'd also imagine, if these things actually happened, that Speck would've cried about them in court.

The worst of the inaccuracies was at the end when Speck was bragging about "running the block." In reality, so many inmates posed a threat to his well-being that Speck initially had to be kept in isolation. The hormones and eventual boobs were his solution to being seen as useful by the prison population. In other words, he purposely became the "bitch," to ensure his survival.

Another complaint I have, is the minorities cast for the sake of political correctness. For example, the doctor who identified Speck by his "Born To Raise Hell" tattoo, was actually white and I believe Tony Todd's character was too. It's just disgusting to me, to see things forced upon us, for the sake of PC.

Yea, Tho I Walk Thru The Valley Of The Shadow Of Political Correctness...🇺🇸
