A RIP OFF aagain

Its really sad that hindi writers are dead, this people that call themself movie writers are just the worst copy cats in the world. This movie is a RIP OFF from the tamil movie Chandramukhi from 2005 starring Rajnikanth(Not a "Remake" or "inspiration" like some fool's says. The story , basic characters are copied from CHandramukhi. After 20 minutes in to the movie, i understood that was a copy. Bollywood movie sucks big time. They make 2-3 good movies in 3-4 years. Rest of them are crap or copied and make the orignal worst then ever.

This is my advice to the bollywood film makers. Stop recreat sets, rewrite other movies and waste your time. Just dubb the english, tamil movies and release it. Then you will save money and energi. Loosers..

Uh, just so you know, Chandramukhi itself was a remake of the original Malayalam version 'Manichithra Thaazhu' & it's kinda unfair that the actual writer's hardly ever given any credit for his brilliant script.

As for so many Bollywood movies being 'inspired' by others - no offense, but, seriously, what else can one expect from Priyadarshan?
Oh well, at least people are given a glimpse of some of these classics, albeit in quite sub-standard ways =\.

I used to think i was indecisive;now, i'm not so sure.

I did a fast research and it was true, It was a remake of the Malayala version. But when I did read som old interviews with the idiot director that i Hate (P.Vasu) and Rajnikanth. They did say that this was a remake and they had the copyrights. But in this case, they didnt even mention that this was a remake. Like you said, bollywood never say its a remake so it make the movie a RIP OFF like always. I seen many films like this and its just sad that the film writers are dead.

I think the director is trying to make people aware of some good south movies, and he also was a assistant director for the original film and aquired remake rights, after all how many people ever watch reigional films.

Soon after the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, in an interview with Rediff.com, the original screenwriter Madhu Muttam said that he was not consulted with and the original director, Fazil (also Priyadarshan's mentor) refused to comment on the film. When asked about plagiarism accusations, Priyadarshan told The Hindu that "Today, 99% of the films are copied"

Are you death, priya was assistant director for original version, whats wrongs in remakig his regional film in bollywood, no one would of heard of malayalam film if it wasn't for Bhool bhuliya. And its not like the movie was remade straight away, it was remade 25 years later.

"And its not like the movie was remade straight away, it was remade 25 years later."

Manichitrathazu was released in 1993, so the Hindi remake was made 14 years later.

Chandramukhi was released in 2005 and it initiated the idea of remaking Manichitrathazu in hindi...

Vineeth played the same role in Chandramukhi
