Anybody else think that it would be cool if they were able to get a couple of new Spidey Super Stories on this show ? Maybe some animated shorts instead of the skinny guy in tights stuff from the 70's.

Animated Spidey shorts wouldn't be such a bad idea.
It could work. Just like the animated Letterman shorts.
It wouldn't work this time, was (to be frank) bullcaca when they were aired originally as live action, and isn't really needed now (and I say this as a viewer of the original show.)
