Jordan had a point about the divorce

He was right, Naomi conveniently waited until Jordan was in serious trouble with the FBI to decide that he was no longer fit to be her husband or a father to her children.

I guess cheating on her with multiple hookers after she herself was an affair for him, putting her life in danger by sailing through a *beep* storm to secure $20 million, and getting into a drug induced deathmatch turned life rescue attempt with his coworker on the kitchen floor with phone extension cords involved, with his daughter watching, wasn't reason enough just as long as the illegitimate money was flowing in by the truckload. Never mind that the car that he drove was completely totaled by the time he got home due to his reckless DUI causing damage to multiple vehicles among other property damage.

It really bothered me that Naomi seemed to be aware all along that her life with Jordan was a house of cards but waited until the house finally collapsed to take the moral high ground and act like she was safeguarding her children from this maniac. Please.

Jordan wanted her because she was beautiful. Naomi wanted him because of his wealth. If she had average face he would have not given her second glance. If he was poor she would have nothing to do with him. I dont think they loved each other. To me they liked each other for fun and status. If he wanted someone to stay with him through hard times in life then he should have stayed married to his first wife. I wasn't surprised when she divorced him.

I think he DID love her...or at least, as much as a selfish womanising narcissist is capable of loving one lady. He makes it clear in one of the narration sequences how much they had in common in terms of interests etc. Also, when confronted by his first wife outside the limo, he guiltily confesses that he loves his mistress.

Whether she loves him back is another matter. She's certainly capable of jealousy, as we see when she overhears him mention another woman's name in his sleep. If she was only with him for the money then that wouldn't annoy her as much.

Agreed, but to Naomi's credit she WAS around for a lot of bad times, they just hadn't yet amounted to prison time. I think she left at the last straw.

She knew it was all crumbling down so she had to leave him to hook up with another rich guy while she still had her looks.
