how the *beep* do you open it, theres a red seal literally welding it shut. any ideas?
sharethere wasn't any red seal on mine. just the normal transparent plastic sealing...

It maybe a retailer's security case. If you got it from a library, or from a shop that uses the cases, return it to the shop and they'll have a device that unlocks the seal.

shareyou could purchase a hacksaw and cut through the case.
shareI tried to snap the case open and it wasn't having any of it, so I threw it on the floor and the DVD just popped out of the lock unscratched. Don't try it though, I think that was a 1 in a million chance.

haha no, didn't steal it. But when i went back to the shop (HMV in covent garden) they told me that all their Fame dvds had that problem, and theyd been sent the wrong ones! x
sharewell i did some work in zavvi and there are devices that magnetises the strips magnet inside which is then pulled out so maybe it wasn't working when they tried it? Zavvi had a few dud ones.
