Can anyone please tell me what happened in the first hour of the film? Who is the other girl? Is she the one who is called "Ploy"? How does she come into their room?

Nothing much happens other than the introduction to the various characters. The bartender and the Maid, Ploy, the young girl, Wit, the husband, and Daeng, the wife.
After Wit and Ploy meet in the bar in the hotel, he invites her to his and his wife's room to shower and get some rest as she has a long while until her mother arrives.
The movie is odd as there are many little things that contribute to one's interpretation of the film, so unless someone can give you a shot by shot breakdown, your best bet is to track down the movie and watch it again.
